Project description:

Capacity & Supplier Manager - Logistics, Supply Chain, Capacity Management

Control of requirements, quantities requested and supplier capacities

Ensuring parts availability for new start-ups & global series requirements

Planning, implementation of factory, layout, material flow, warehouse planning

Coordination and control of material flows and their suppliers

Project tasks:

a. Independent management of supply bottlenecks in complex supply chains

b. Taskforce supply chain & coordination between suppliers and OEM

c. Initiate management escalation in case of impending supply disruption in the supply chain

d. Daily management reporting of the supply situation

e. Measures with the interface areas development, quality, logistics

f. Purchasing for redesigns of components, restrictions in the production programme etc.

g. Business trips worldwide incl. China, India, America and Eastern Europe

Task and responsibilities:

1.) Customer projects in the area of supplier management / capacity management

2.) Evaluation of suppliers, development of action plans and schedules

3.) Proactive tracking of suppliers with regard to quality, costs, quantities, deadlines

4.) Determination of potential for schedule reductions

5.) Independent prioritisation of topics and deadlines, also at the customer's site

6.) Implementation of PPF procedures, R&R performance tests and process acceptances
